Well, I’ve moved from manga for a bit too long so here’s a short review on Eyeshield 21, specifically the manga…

Eyeshield 21 is by far the best sports manga and anime series I have ever seen. From the get go, I am absolutely drawn into the brilliant artwork, the tension thick storyline and the spectacular planned out matches. I have never failed to be just utterly surprised at some of the amazing stunts that happen. Recently in the manga, it has reached the epic rematch between the Ojou White Knights and the Daimon Devil Bats. and more specifically Sena vs Shin. Now here is where all the tension and drama is coming out at its best as beating Shin has been one of Sena’s main drives and catching up to Sena has been Shin’s. I was utterly shocked when Shin moved from his god like status of before to an even higher level breaking into Sena’s 4.2 barrier. At the moment, Shin has become the best player and even Himura has admitted that at the moment they have nothing to stop him, hoping to bank it all on thinking of something during half time, the first half ending spectacularly with Sena pulling off a vicious tackle keeping Ojou from furthering their lead. At the rate this is going, this could very much become the best match of the whole manga, which is saying alot as the rest were just excellent….
