Gonzo have shown they can pull off a decent anime adaptation. They're doing Bokurano, which I'm *really* looking forward to as it's a brilliant manga, and I'm praying they don't screw up. As you said, Gonzo have been doing pretty good lately with NHK and one of my favourite 2006 series, Red Garden.
