There’s only one phrase that could really sum this up; ‘the shit has truly hit the fan.’ If you have watched the episode, you better bloody do as the story literally explodes at this point. The episode was so intense and good (and probably well blogged already, I am just going to go through some of the more noteworthy points in the episode.

Finally…. we get to see this character more…
First, I don’t know about you but I am pretty curious about this character who is finally named I believe as Kaguya. She’s an important figure in Kyoto it seems and has a little something for Zero and it’s great that we are finally thrown something about this mystery girl. It’s just not enough though.

Shirley; needs to get her priorities straight
Shirley… right, so I’ve been tolerant of her for a while now. There’s a lot of build up for her, what with knowing Lelouch’s secret, her father was killed against Zero, she has something for Lelouch, she’s relearnt what she forgot and she’s seen Lelouch with Euphie. With all this build up, you can tell it will be a big deal once she confronts Lelouch about it. But like so many episode before, it’s just shuffled off to the side and forgotten about… Something has got to have come out of this thing after this episode considering what happened.

Is it just me, or does the whole manic psychopath thing look good on her?
The big point of the whole episode. At times during the series, I have cringed at some of Lelouch’s screw up but this was the worst. Causing Euphie to go on a Japanese killing spree. He’s effectively destroyed Euphie, either she’s going to get in big trouble for this or she’s going to be insanely affected by what she’s done when she comes out of it, if she comes out at all.
Theories that Euphie may at one point go after Suzaku who is geassed to live. A very good twist if it does happen which can probably only lead to tragedy. (yay)

Der uber Cliffhanger….
And it all comes down to this. Euphie is now the target of the Order of the Black Knights. Lelouch is left like Mao, with a permanent Geass which can prove to be a big problem (although an eye patch might help) to which C.C. had felt at the time it changed and happened. Suzaku has something up about him, as he sees the same blurry image thing as Lelouch did in the first episode (Suzaku with a Geass power seems plausible now) and his visions when he touched her prove very mysterious showing an image of Marriane, Lelouch’s mother. The story may have exploded but it’s just left up with even more suspense and more questions. What a way to gear up for a second season, eh? (although the wait will surely suck).
In my mind, we desperately need the next episode, being the last of the regularly scheduled ones, to which we can then panic on when the next two will be released…. that should be ‘fun’… D:

hehe, yes… truly WTF
