Spring; signifying love to the romantics, beauty to the holistic, pain to the hay fever sufferers and to any otaku hikkimori worth their salt, it means one of the highest concentration of new anime we can expect until roughly the time it takes for the earth to transverse around the sun once. I don’t know about you but I enjoy spring watching more for some reason. I lost a lot of luster over anime at the beginning of the winter season only for it to come back around near the end of it, to which I had finally got on the Geass boat =P
Being the Manga Elitist Bastard I am (the hypocritical one who watches enough anime to balance it all out), this season’s line up is surely making my mouth water in anticipation. Some of my favourite series are getting the anime treatment and while I doubt it will be as good (as it usually does, with some of these) it’s still going to be damn well enjoyable to watch anyways. What follows will be some slim pickings from the packed line up based solely on its pre-existing manga.
