I won’t lie to you, I was prejudiced against this show seeing how it has taken Code Geass’ time slot and I was all like, ‘Why would you do such a thing? You’ll never be anything of an anime.’ Then I realised I was being quite an asshat… indeed.

Hei, violent mo’fo’

Darker than Black was very good on the whole. Animation was great the whole way through and music was excellent as well. I especially loved the OP.

The story is slightly slow at first especially compared to the mysterious beginning before the OP kicked. I loved how here we see the first side of our main character as a violent character, Hei to which we later see a softer side of him as Lee. His character really interests me a lot. In fact, the whole show left me intrigued.

It was an excellent watch and kept me interested but I felt a little uninformed by the end of the episode. I felt that not enough was explained to me by the first episode and there was just so much more I needed to find out… so definitely, I’ll be catching the next episode XD
