The new series from Gainax (bringing you newer and weirder things since NGE) comes Tengen Toppa Gurren-Laagan… This one wasn’t on my to-watch list either, but none of the lighter series that I was looking forward to were out so I checked this out and it was quite enjoyable actually…
So yuh, being coined as Berserk Lite, or Berserk: but with girls, I picked this up from Eclipse who do a lot of really good series and I must say I found myself enjoying it. Violence and blood ahoy!

My First Fan Art
Alright, I lied, I drew some wierd chibis before and I have alot of school books loaded with doodles, but this is the first one I can say I honestly like it and can showcase it.
Anime is Code Geass, done in 10 minutes, then did a redraft to which I penned it, scanned it and wahey. Now, I’m thinking I might need a better pen or I have a lousy scanner… I’m thinking the second one. I thought the first draft was actually better but I’m too lazy to do anything else now. First draft didn’t have CC which I don’t think I got right at the angle I drew but meh, I believe I got the point across. Zero’s arm under that cloak is way too long now that I look at it but oh well, hopefully I’ll get better. I’m having fun getting to grips with penning my work and scanning them and hope to produce more sketches over time. Comments and criticism greatly appreciated XD
Just thought I’ld get this out there before I nod off… It’s 12.30 in the morning here in the UK. Man, my sleep pattern is so weird =P
Yeah, that’s right, I’m a little late on blogging it but at least I got around to it. Oh, who am I kidding, my inner Shana Fanboy is preparing to commit some form of ritualistic suicide for not getting on this sooner D: So yeah, Shana Season 2 set for Winter Season (well, more autumn but I count only two season D ) of which is already looking pretty good, rivalling the Spring Season we’re in right now XD I’m sure all the other Shana fans are cheering on this news especially considering how a large majority of us felt disappointed in finding out the movie was a remake of the first few episodes…. Man, 2007 is looking to be absolutely excellent XD
Probably would be sick and tired of seeing this pic again and again if it weren’t Shana.
People who got there before me, so proof I didn’t just make this up =P like Omni, RunningKid, Pikuotaku and really I can’t be bothered with much else. It’s just true alright =P
After many a two episodes ‘arcs’ we have now gotten somewhere to which I believe the bigger plot is starting XD Hana’s backstory is revealed… well, a little bit and it ties in with the whole Ryoutarou is a Singularity Point. Hopefully more will be explained soon and the mysterious guy always checking his pocket watch in every time jump needs to be explained as well.
Axe Form in all it’s glory…
Ryoutarou picks up yet another Imagin, Kintarou to which allows him the use of Axe form which looks very good actually, a lot better than Rod form at least. Axe form, as opposed to the speedier and more faster paced fighting of the other two seems to favour just simply over powering the enemy which works out just fine. His final attack, Dynamic Chop, is cooler in my eyes for the fact he states what it is after he defeats the enemy, an actual bit of suprise in that attack XD
Some actual real battle tactics, that or just an afterthought…
So next week, I hope to see more on Axe form, and the preview for the next episode was quite interesting as well. Also, saw a pic of next form (gun form) which looks pretty cool although I doubt how interesting his battles will be, I never liked Drake D:
