Yes, it is ones of these things again. Anime Expo time again here in London, and I popped down the road to the convention centre and had myself in to the stalls.

Firstly, this was one of larger manga buys ever rivalling when I bought pretty much all of Negima at once. The full list is: vol 2-4 Fruits Basket, vol 16-18 Bleach, vol 6 D.Gray-Man, vol 1 Fullmetal Alchemist, vol 1, 3-4, 7-8 Busou Renkin, vol 6-7 DearS and a DearS offical Fan Book.
A great hull in my opinion, and the DearS Fan Book partically, because I didn’t know that it was in existance actually. I bought some other odd trinkets and also am thinking about Cosplay for the next Expo. A fully working Lagann suit was my idea, all I would need is a short Simon to complete the package XD
Speaking of Cosplay, the safety boundry of Cosplay in the UK apparently doesn’t exist anymore. Bearded Sakura’s (Naruto) and other guys showing way too much leg kind of creeped me out. A few cool ones, like a fully Hollow Ichigo and assorted others made me smile. There were so many Akatsuki it was unbelievable. Me and my friends decided there was a serious lack of anything Gurren-Dan.
This was my second expo trip and sadly with the Strike Noir collecting dust in my box pile, I had decided not to get a Gundam this time. Sadly, when I was all moneyed out and just browsing, my eyes settled on a Wing Gundam verKA. Someone actually had it in stock, so I went against budget restraints and went to the nearest cash point possible for money. Sadly when I returned, it was already sold. Damn! This did however reignite my interest in Gundam as I perused the rest of the selection they had there, and I hope to have the Strike Noir done soon. Also saw some pretty good looking Gundam games (for the Xbox 360 sadly).
The line this time wasn’t as bad but that was probably because I had chosen to come later in the day instead of trying to get in as soon as it opened. The admission was done better with a whole convention hall reserved just to accommodate the ticket queues.
After passing the Artist Alley today though, my passion for drawing rose after seeing some of the skill some of them had. I plan to really go out and draw now, and possibly enter the artist competition next Expo too.
Well, tomorrow I and the majority of my American Football club will be visiting our closest team, the London Blitz but then after that I have the whole half term free. That would be so much awesome if the majority of my best friends were still in London. One of them is doing an engineering course at HMS Ganett in Scotland for the week dammit.
Hope to blog of something for the season soon!

Haha! Same with me for the DearS fanbook….I was wandering around Borders one day looking at the manga and I was like: wtf is that!! *instant buy* …..so is your DearS collection complete yet? I know mine is~ xD
No, but I am but one volume off… so close… if only it was at the expo T___T
hehe quiet a collection you got there!
I have the advantage I have a local comicstore in my humble land (Holland) called the eppo.
I have a own reservation there , you could call it my abbo
Manga is the only thing I spend my money on and I could say that if I tell my mum the price total see would have a stroke:P a totakl of 600 Euros.
collection so far:
Bleach 1 till 21
Naruto 1 till 16
Buso renkin 1 till 7
Death Note 1 till 12 (yes a serie complete)
Air gear 1 till 5
D.N.Angel 1 till 11 (damn the serie ain’t finished and nobody knows when it’ll be finished)
Shonen Jump 8-9-10-11
And the best is that the prices are really cheap 6.75 euro´s and If I´d bought it in London It would be 6.75 x 1.5 the current value of your pond. SO if I´d buy in London 600 x 1..5 is 900 ponds whooooooooow that is alot of money don´t you think.
