I have only noticed recently that the second season of Genshiken has come out. Man, have I been living under a rock. Even more so because i have yet to watch the first season. Well, even though I have read the manga and thoroughly enjoyed it, I wasn’t going to watch the second season without the first, so i marathon-watched it today at the expense of the Chemistry coursework I was to do.
And upon seeing the episode on Gunpla, my eye left the screen and landed upon my model pile. I remembered I had a Strike Noir to complete so I took it, sat it next to me and then continued watching the rest of Genshiken.
So after dusting 15 episodes, I sat down and restarted on this project finally completing the body segment after a couple of month D:
I love my gunpla and model making but with school and such, I am consistently having less and less time for it. But I guess if I do it a little at a time, I guess it can be more achievable.
My skill for Gunpla is inexplicably low though Mould lines are still there, marker skills like using a crayon and generally, I am clumsy enough to have stabbed myself with a screwdriver, leading to the plaster I have in the below pic.

With the right tools and a bit more practice, I hope that sometime in the future, I can get better but until then I don’t think i will ever touch a perfect grade, lest I tarnish it…
(Actual post on the new Genshiken Anime to follow at some point later… )

lolowned….I used to work on gunpla back in the day…but I haven’t been doing it recently even though it’s all cool now. I haven’t picked up the second season of Genshiken yet either…but I just feel like I need to marathon that series to enjoy it for some reason.
