So marks the first MusicRun (tm) ranking. As an music lover, I pretty much pick up anything as it turns up, especially if it is anime. A few days back, I got a damn huge chunk of Music from Nipponsei and noting how long ago I did a music post, I think I will do one now. In a monthly segment or something similar. So rankings and quick review of the new music pumped out this week.
7. Myself Yourself ED Single - ‘Kimi to Yozora to Sakamichi to’ by Itou Kanako.
For a long while after watching the first episode of Myself Yourself, I got the tune for this stuck in my head but was at a loss to figure out where it was from until I watched the next episode. Even though the tune was quite catchy, there wasn’t anything fancy about this single and the other track was quite similar.
6. Kimikiss pure rouge OP Single - ‘Aozora Loop’ by marble.
Adored this song, and I thought it totally set the tone of the Anime. The second track is of about the same style and I enjoyed it just the same.
5. .Minami-ke OP Single - ‘Keikenchi Joushouchuu’ by Various.
This was a song I really enjoyed, sung by the Minami sisters I believe. the extra track is by them also and it was a good listen.
4. Myself Yourself OP Single - ‘Tears Infection’ by KAORI.
Full version was much better in my opinion. Here, you can hear fully and better appreciate the techno beeps.
3. ef - a tale of memories OP Single - ‘euphoric field’ by ELISA.
Dramatic as I remember, this single comes with the song in Japanese and English with off vocals and TV size. The english version does sound quite weird though and I prefer the japanese better…
2. Genshiken 2 OP Single - ‘disarm dreamer’ by Misato Aki
When I saw this OP, I almost cracked up laughing so much at the parody. The song emulates the style of Gundam OPs that have been popular around the Seed era. I thought it was hillarious XD
1. Gundam 00 OP1 Single - ‘DAYBREAK’S BELL’ by L~Arc en Ciel
I picked this as number one because of all the tracks on this. It was a great spread of L~Arc en Ciel. I love their work!

I’m torn between the ef single and L’arc~en Ciel’s Daybreak.
I was actually disappointed in the ef single. It just doesn’t have the same epic effect of the TV OP without the visuals. Also, anime music lolz….I guess nobody listens to real Jmusic…..T.t
I listen…. I just don’t generally get a lot of it… nor blog it….
For me also, I kept seeing things abstractly in weird colours while listening to the ef single.. It could be a seizure though….
you know i have all of those music except the last 2 6 and 7 lol ^_^ all new singles from cd ^_^ i have good resources too ^_^ cant w8 for the new cd’s to come out for the new anime songs ^_^
