Yes, now we are talking…

Thanks Ruki for the heads up on the new episode release. I’ve been horrible in properly scheduling when the new episodes will come out so it is either a big surprise or I don’t see the episode until a few days later but luckily I was able to pick this up quickly and watch it before midnight rolled around. XD

The highlight of the episode was Aiko kissing Shinichiro and the low point was Shinichiro’s face afterwards. It was funny how confused he was looking but this is not productive to my favoured pairing. I am just quite happy now that Shinichiro knows how Aiko feels for him now even after all the confusing things he has been assulted with over the last two episodes. I get the feeling the ball has really started moving, but I felt it was weird for Aiko to do this after Shinichiro said he was going out with Noe now. It makes her seem so desperate.

I honestly feel sorry for Miyokichi. I wanted Aiko/Shinichiro to happen but I feel like this guy has been so victimized. This episode, I felt even more pity for the guy. When he said that ‘Ai-chan was the only one for him’ was quite moving but then he says to Shinchiro, ‘If it is you, then it may be fine…’ He’s given up already. He was somewhat denying it to himself before but this one step has shown he has truly accepted the situation and fully prepared to give up on his love.

Shinichiro does a similar thing. At the beginning of the episode, he was quite in denial (comically even) and was all shifty eyed at the breakfast table. But eventually I think he accepted the situation too, first starting from his confrontation with Jun and on realising how Noe feels for him.

Noe was a character I didn’t actually like that much for the majority of the show but after seeing her in this episode, and on her realising of how she feels for Shinichiro I am starting to quite like her character. She was quite weird though having Shinichiro elaborating liking her to the point of him actually writing it out on the ground with stones.

This was a spectacular episode in my opinion and I can’t damn well wait for the next episode, since the whole Aiko kissing Shinichiro thing was the damn cliffhanger.
