I am confused. Honestly speaking, this should not be interesting. A medieval-like era story with no sword or wicked-shit magic and where the main plot points involve trading and economics. I never took economics for the sole reason I just didn’t want to because of an extreme lack of interest. I therefore assume, that the characterizations is what sells this show to me. Particularly Horo. I love her playful attitude and at the same time, her always in control attitude. Even when she seems thrown for a loop like when her and Lawrence are escaping through the sewers is a nice facet of her character.

The curse of a really good voicing job is that it follows you everywhere. When I first heard Lawrence, I couln’t stop thinking of Lelouch from Code Geass but I have gotten past that point now and Lawrence has really come into his own. The first few episodes, I didn’t think so highly of him but my opinion of him has grown considerably better since. Fun moments like the above really add character to Lawrence and the show really benefits from that. I may say that the interplay between Lawrence and Horo is what draws me in. Not what they talk about but how. I love the interplay between them.

As to the new character, Nora. I like her. A lot better than Chloe. I want to see where this part of the story is going as there seem to be some unknown story about Nora at the moment that I am dying to find out about. I love how the dynamic between Horo and Lawrence has changed dramatically with her appearance. A jealous Horo is quite fun.
On the grounds of pointless plot predictions, I guess that Nora is harboring werewolf sheep… but that sound as stupid as how bad the animation quality can get. My one qualm with this show is the inconsistency in its artwork. At times, it is decent and others just shit. I will be looking forward to more though
