I laughed when the bike caught fire. From the last episode, I did imagine something big was to happen from the impromptu bike ride but I didn’t expect it to happen right at the beginning of the episode. I am still unsure why they were still unhurt.

One thing I noted from the episode was the animation. At time, they used the watercolor effect on some key scenes and it looked stunning. I love their style and the animation has already been top notch and consistent so far.

There was a lot of development between Shin’ichirou and Hiromi, and I was okay with that. The above scene just rose the emotional tension of the show that much higher. This however was ruined by the unexplained ‘yeah, the mother lied…’ Why would you lie about such a thing, honestly. The relationship barriers of sibling-hood is now gone, and I can’t wait to see how it develops. I feel it weird how the situation in the household has changed so suddenly, with Hiromi getting treated better now.

Nobuse is an upstanding best mate. He still sticks up for Shin’ichiro.I hate his situation, but I hate how it was all left hanging from the last episode. Shin’ichirou just pretending it never happened was a big cop out. I sincerely hope that when they touch back on the Shin’ichirou-Aiko-Nobuse thing, they will do it as well. I feel a little despondent as I wanted some resolution on that.

I feel pity for Noe now. Things were really looking up for her. Things were developing way too well and conveniently with Shin’ichirou all for it to be shattered by him hugging Hiromi. This is turning out to be an extremely enjoyable watch for me this season even though some major issues were just skimmed over with little mention. Nonetheless, I eagerly await the next episode!

So no incest? T____T
and Noe can go to hell.
